BIOGRAPHY: The ultimate
tribute to Electric Light Orchestra! Since the Electric Light Orchestra
first formed in Birmingham, England in 1970 by the creative genius of Jeff
Lynne, the world has been in awe of this singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist.
The music of ELO is characterized by a fusion of Beatlesque pop, classical
arrangements, and
futuristic iconography.
Although the band's music is over fifty years old, it is still very relevant
and heavily sought after today. This is why we are Ticket To The Moon.
Formed in 2019,
Ticket To The Moon features eight band members and can include up to a
twenty piece orchestra with members from all over the world. The band is
based in Florida and is available to tour North America and places beyond
the Universe. Ticket To The Moon is dedicated to bringing the music of
ELO to the fans that so love this music. Note-for-note arrangements, stellar
vocals, and top-of-the-line video production add to an ELO Tribute like
no other.
Members of
our band have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the music
industry, and most recently performed with Shakira at Super Bowl LIV in
Miami. Some of the artists band members have performed with include Foreigner,
Chuck Berry, Romeo Santos, Andrea Bocelli, Rod Stewart, Sarah McLachlan,
Ricky Martin, and The Trans-Siberian Orchestra among many others.
Ticket To The
Moon will also be featured on the Television series Tribute Band Wars in
September 2021. Taping will begin in February 2021 at the Seminole Hard
Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. This is the only TV series
to feature competing North American Tribute Bands.
