Thank you
for remembering with me the tragic events of September 11, 2001

Dear friends and fans:
On September 11, 2001 the United States, and the world,
was rocked by the news that four commercial jetliners were hijacked by
unknown terrorists. Even more devestating was the realization that these
terrorists were on a suicide mission against freedom -- ultimately ending
in the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians and rescue workers at
the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in the countryside of Pennsylvania.
Like most worldwide, I was deeply effected by this shameless
act on civilization. I felt anger and sorrow at the same time. I felt angry
at those that would do this, and I felt deep sorrow for our men, women,
and children that were tragically killed in the downed aircraft and on
the ground in Pennsylvania, at the Pentagon, and in the crumbling of the
World Trade Center complex in New York.
I also was moved by the tremendous response of a team
made up of hundreds of firefighters, police men and women, and a multitude
of other service personell.... many of whom also lost their lives while
trying to help others.
Often times, the easiest way to express this variety of
emotions for me is through song. So, the day after these events occurred,
I immediately put my thoughts to paper, and quickly to audio format in
the studio as I was leaving on tour.
This free download is my way of showing my appreciation
for those that gave, and continue to give, so much to so many others. This
song is also dedicated to the friends and families of these same victims.
I also am making available a commemmorative CD of this song with additional
information on those tragic events... with a portion of the proceeds going
to the NY Firefighters Fund.
Continue to be proud, strong, and most importantly --
continue helping your fellow man... that's what makes these United States
what they are. We should NEVER forget!
May God bless you always,
